About Doc

Mike (Doc) Monteith has been instructing fly anglers since 2002. Mike first held a fly rod at the age of three along the banks of the Miramichi River in New Brunswick and started fishing the local trout lakes around Edmonton when he moved to Alberta at 10 years of age. 44 years later, Doc is still tossing flies in search of big trout and helping others do the same through his instructional fly fishing business, Alberta Stillwater Adventures.
